About Business Analysis

Business Analysis refers to the activity of analyzing to gain insights about a domain in which an organization exists. Business Analysts are intellectual beings who conduct analysis of various key metrics relating to the business and the industry to derive better processes. Business Analysts coordinate with stakeholders, developers and management to suggest and implement solutions that will heighten productivity and performance of a business.

There are several certification programs in Business Analysis offered by International Institute of Business Analysis and other authorities.

CBAP ® - The Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) course is a certificate program offered by International institute of Business Analysis. Eligibility criteria includes 7500 hours of previous Business Analysis Experience in the past 10 years

CCBA ® - Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) is a competency based certification framework that trains aspiring Business Analysts to join the professional league through better understanding of business analysis requirements. Prerequisites for the course includes 3750 working experience in Business Analysis, 21 hours of professional development in the past 4 years.

Students will have to undergo training to become well-prepared for the examinations of such courses.
